Monitor problems. Moved house and now my monitor won't pick up a signal.

I was happily computering away this morning, disconnected everything, drove to my new place, reconnected it all and poof. The pc boots, and using hotkeys on my keyboard I can load iTunes and play music, but the monitor isn't picking up a signal from my pc. I've taken the cover off and had a butchers, but it's like if my car broke down, I'd look under the bonnet and just stare, scratching my arse. Nothing seems loose or out of place, but what do I know. Any ideas reddit? I've made sure all connections are connected and tuned it off and on again, but alas, the problem persists. Help?
