Great rebound against Sociedad after this week

Great match! This was the epitome of Madrid style and scoring.

• Benzema with an amazing chip shot was a great moment

• Sahin finally made another appearance! I thought he should've come on for Alonso since he had a yellow, but nonetheless, great twenty minutes for him.

• I was surprised though, how come Ronaldo was subbed instead of the obvious Kaka or Higuain?

• Last, but certainly not least, VARANE! What a defender, guys. That guy is a brick wall, amazing skill. I've mentioned great things about him before simply because he is amazing at defending. Great vision where he lobbed it forward to Higuain who crossed to Ronaldo for a finish. That's Madrid for you! And maybe this was an easy match, but I think I may prefer Varane to start rather than Pepe. What do you guys think? Varane is probably faster than Pepe, taller, better at corners, and great forward play.

Mention what else was fantastic after a terrible week of La Liga!
