A trend of /r/askreddit.
Now I'm not hating on the subreddit as a whole, but I just don't understand why this is a pattern:
- Redditor experiences major life issue, or his close relative/friend does.
- Asks reddit for help
- Reddit replies; most upvoted post always says "lawyer up."
- OP finds massive relief.
Why is this even a thing? I just find it odd that a major part of asking reddit about anything is usually to ask for emotional confirmation that they can sue.
