Should I go with Gaming or Workstation graphics?

I'm unsure if what I should get, I do graphics design, video editing, animation, etc, but I want to play BF3, Mass Effect an other graphic demanding games (Note: I want to do all of this in three screens plus a 42" LCD). I usually do more graphic design stuff more than I do gaming but I still want to have the option.
