Experiment results and being present.

This last week somethings went pretty well, while others just did not happen.

Exercising was something that was a great idea, but just didn't manage to get worked into the plan. I put it on my schedule, but other things took priority. However, I have also been feeling pretty happy, so I have felt that I didn't need to exercise.

With Campus Corps, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that my mentee basically only shows up half the time, so the fact that I haven't gotten to help him as much as I'd like is basically not something I should worry about.

As far as talking to my roommates about the dishes go, I have yet to. I have it on my list of things to do today, and really plan on getting it done.

Being excited about everything has had mixed results. I don't feel like I've actively done anything, but I'm pretty happy with everything going on.

So talking with friends everyday has been cool, but I find talking over text is not very effective. Instead, I'd much rather setup times to hang out over my weekend. I also think that getting to see friends pretty frequently has helped keep me in a good mood.

Pickup has been going really well. I met with my ex girlfriend last week and found out she had a new boyfriend. This was a pretty great wake up call that I needed to quit making excuses and just take action on some other women. So this has been really good, however, I did not think about vulnerability at all.

So for this next week, I'd like to do two things. The first is meet with a friend every day I don't have school. So I'll schedule some coffee plans with friends for the weekend. The other thing I really want to try is to really focus on being present. To do this I'm going to change my affirmations to reflect the importance of being focused on the moment.
