How would I do this?

Not sure if anyone on this subreddit would know what to do, but I'm looking to turn a image in to a tapestry type thing. Specifically, taking a Magic card (Like this) and turning that picture in to a template that could then be done in beads (like 6 by 10 in. size). I have no idea how possible it would be, but I'm curious if it could be done and how simple it would be to do so. I'm more concerned about how do I turn that image in to a template (the beading part would be fairly straightforward after that).
