Found a Shiny Japanesse Celebi....need help

Got Soulsilver from my local Gamestop today. Went poking around to see what the player had.

I found a Japanese named Shiny Celebi Level 10. It was caught in a Cherish ball. I tried to PokeCheck it but got the error code saying that it was miss named or something.

Its stats are Attack 26 Defense 22 SP ATK 27 SP Def 27 SPeed 27

Was this a good find or completely fake?

Also original trainers name was SpyX. If that helps at all.
