Buying a house in NOVA

Any one have any experiences to share? NOVA-specific sites or general tips, especially.

My contribution: VHDA has first time home buyer education classes as a starting point. They're free and tremendously informative. Takes up a Saturday, but you get a certificate that's necessary if you go the FHA Plus route.
