What, in your opinion, is the defining characteristic of today's youth?
You hear a lot in the media about how "kids these days are overprotected!" or "they're losing empathy because of those damn smartphones!" As someone who would generally be considered young, I want to know what the popular opinion is, whether from members of Gen Y and Gen Z or from outside observers. Take any definition of 'young' that you like, whether ages 1-4 or anyone less than 50, for you old codgers out there.
