Teaching good pronounciation

I have an Indian friend who has asked me to give him lessons on improving his English accent and pronunciation. Looking for some tips on the best way to go about this, especially if anyone has any experience with this.

This may be complicated by the fact that I have a Scottish accent and I think he should probably aim for an "Oxford" English accent, which I can mimic pretty well.
