Is there a person you know, around whom you always feel like an asshole?

I mean a person around whom you are acting more dominantly, or being more mean than usual, or any other similar behaviours?

I know such a person and I feel bad when I think about it, but during conversation it's a dynamic that I can't seem to control/change.
