How were you taught about WW1 and WW2? Did you ever get taught events that differed from historical records?
I'm asking this as I have been reading a few articles on both the wars that have very different opinions sited in the comments at the bottom from people of different nationalities. I wondered how vastly the teaching of both of these wars varies in terms of national cirrocumulus and I have come to wonder if it necessarily teaching method, or if it a mixture of self opinion or the passed down opinions of family members/friends that is developing the differing opinions.
To give my own teachings (rather than opinions as that would become an essay) I learnt about both wars in schooling from the age of 8-16 and through my own research. This along with family opinions have formed my own opinion of events.
