Request: Examples of excellent documentation

Currently developing a rather simple app as part of my degree, and I get a lot of marks for good documentation etc. I was wondering if anyone had any particular examples of excellent documentation including development notes, diagrams, manual, use cases and so on. Or, failing that, some tips for writing good documentation in general?
