Help With Rom Hacks

Lately I've been playing alotta rom hacks. I've tried Snakewood and it works fine. Then I try playing Light Platinum and Ash Grey on Gameboid for Android and it works fine until I go outside. When I do, the colors are darker, like brown instead of green.

Any suggestions on what may be wrong?
