joinDOTA Viewing Improvement

So, as many of you probably know, MLG is currently going on, and I noticed that they have continued storing the video of the day with the live stream. Essentially, you can watch live, or go back to a previous moment in the timeline to see something you missed, or even go back the full day. You can pause it, come back to it, etc. etc.

This is super-useful for times when you miss something or want to rewatch a major fight, or if you come in 30 min late.

My question is, would it be possible for joinDOTA to do something similar? I think that MLG is using its own streaming platform rather than Twitch/own3d. Do those platforms automatically negate that ability?
