The sixth Doctor

So, I've been watching the classic series, and I've gotten up to "Trial of a Timelord" with the sixth Doctor.

I was nervous about starting the sixth, because he has pretty universally terrible reputation among fans, but I don't think he's so bad. Just to be clear, I hated him for the first few episodes, because he was arrogant and cowardly, and just awful. But in "Trial of a Timelord," he's redeemed himself a bit. Sure, he's not outwardly kind like the fifth Doctor, but Matt Smith is often poor-mannered and insulting to others but I still love him. I could understand why viewership dropped off after his first few serials, but I think by "Trial" maybe he was seen a bit unfairly.
