Help with Rogue-like game

I don't know if this is the proper subreddit for this, but I would appreciate some help finding a game. It's a really old PC game. It's a 2-D tile style game. I'm pretty sure it's a Rogue like game. You choose a class at the beginning (for example, a warrior or cleric) and you go into a basement/dungeon type area and fight mobs of monsters and you can also equip different armor and rings and necklaces. Any help is greatly appreciated.
