The Fifth Doctor

On the same vein as my other thread, the fifth doctor is often seen pretty positively, but I felt a little bored by him. First of all, he wasn't as funny as the Fourth had been and that was a hard transition. Also he didn't seem to be as brilliant as his other incarnations. I mean the Doctor is always stuck in an impossible situation and he comes up with this fantastic plan or discovers something so massive from nothing, but I feel like I saw less of that with the Fifth Doctor.

He also didn't have much of that quirkiness that other Doctors have had, he was more of a curious investigating nice guy than anything else. Maybe I need to see more of him, or watched the wrong episodes, but I just felt a bit bored by his time as the Doctor.
