"Secret" tunnels? Maintenance tunnels? Anybody?

So, I've been here for three years, and I keep hearing about secret tunnels on North, as well as South. Now that I'm hearing the same from upperclassmen, I'm really curious...

Does anybody know anything about these tunnels? Where are they? How can I get to them?
