plus a dvd drive and a 200gb hard disk I had lying around, which I'll upgrade when I have the money. What a suspence the first time you hit the power button and hope everything runs well!! The system is merrily running Archlinux now.
The biggest stress I'll put this through is some heavy DSP for audio work, and from the little tests I've done so far the i5 works wonders better than the intel core 2 duo of my laptop. I was concerned about the case (which is really really nice) having heating problems (from what I've read online), but the cpu temperatures seem stable at 40 degrees... they went to about 70 when compiling ardour3, which maxed all the 4 cores (though it took about ten minutes against the several hours on my laptop!).
