You know, I really am starting to believe that modern American men just aren't that masculine

Had dinner with a cute friend of mine and she was telling me all about the guys she was dating at the moment. They ranged in age from 23- 48 (she's 29) and apparently none of them seem able to make the first move on her and just seem to be confused as to what they should do. There was alot more to it than that but it was basically just collaborating my thoughts that modern American men really are losing their masculiinity.

Any thoughts on this or evidence for/against from you guys?
