HELP!! Friend visiting Dallas, want to show her true southern living!

So I moved to Dallas about 8 months ago but still feel new to the area and unsure of what all I can show to a traveling friend. She is visiting from 04/12-04/16. She has never been down south so I was thinking to do stuff like a rodeo, country line dancing bars, and visiting a shooting range. I know these are stereotypical but with such a short amount of time I want to experience things you don't see often up north. Anybody have recommendations to fulfill these requirements or any more ideas on what we can experience? (We are 23yo females recently graduated from college and a year into working the real world.)

EDIT: When I say "never been down south" I mean never traveled lower than New Jersey. Trust me, the lifestyle here is much different than up North. Don't be offended when I categorize Texas as "south" but it really is much more south than PA,NJ,NY area)
