I love the GSL, but there is one little thing they could do that would really improve the broadcast, in my opinion

Cut to a shot of the player reactions sooner after the game ends.

Too many times at the end of the game we're stuck watching the game screen for 5-10 seconds after the game ends. Sometimes by the time they've cut to the winner, the player has already jumped up and left the booth. A few times Artosis or Tasteless has commented on how crushed a player looks, and they've never even put that player's booth on-screen. This seems like a waste to me.

MLG is doing a really nice job this weekend of cutting immediately to the player cameras after the GG is given. So far there's not too much emotional reaction from the players, but as we get further along in the tournament, I'm sure we'll see exuberant winners and downtrodden losers. This human element is SO potent.

On the front page of /r/starcraft in the last few weeks, we've seen a GIF of Grubby freaking out when he won, and yesterday there was a shot of DeMusliM burying his head in his hands upon defeat. As fans, we invest ourselves emotionally in these players, and we want to live and die with them and their reactions to key matches. It humanizes the players and touches the audience.

I'm not sure why the GSL is so slow to change the camera. I'm sure it's more complicated than I'm imagining, so I'm not going to say that they're doing a terrible job or anything. But if there's one thing I think GSL should focus on improving in their broadcast, it's catching the player reactions. I want to see MarineKing's big stupid grin, or a former Code S legend's despair when they drop to Code A.

EDIT: Downvotes? Anyone want to explain why?
