Battery Life differences in various cities

I am just commenting and wondering if any others have similar experiences. I travel a fair amount and I find that some cities seem to absolutely kill my battery very quickly. Just got back from Boston and Battery Life was very bad there. But, for example, been to Dallas (OK), Houston (OK), Phillie (Not Good), KC (fine), Chicago (moderate).

I use a moto-droid3, verizon, similar behaviour in all cities - such as car charger, laptop charging, and AC chargers. Very similar business day activities, fairly steady phone usage.

Anyone else see any similar happenings?
