Question about Star Wars

In episode 6, Han, Chewie, Luke and Leia are approaching Endor in the stolen shuttle. When Vader intervenes and asks "where's that shuttle going", Han is the one to answer.

Did Vader not recognize his voice? Or, did he recognize his voice and decide to let them go anyway?
