"Shrooming along the bank"... a little poem I wrote
I just wrote this at a [5]. It's about a trip I had a couple of weeks ago. This is acually the first poem I ever write in English:
The river ripples swayed as they touched upon the bank
And the lowly man weighed the dark against the blank
Betrayed and dismayed wishing that it all had sank
He thinks:
“Isn't it obvious that Nature plays with harmony and not rank?
Man has preyed and whom does he thank?
Man has won but at who’s lack?”
Clarity and hilarity ensued in a paranoid state
Beauty and awe, Ah! What a prolonged wait
I belong to that displaced fate
Me, the world, everything felt innate
All was present, all was real
And from that point on all was ideal'
I realize life and death are both decided
So, I offer myself to each undivided
