I smoke/vape everyday and I'm taking shrooms with some friends soon. Should I smoke before taking them?

My friends and I will probably go camping somewhere similar to Joshua tree and plan on taking the shrooms on the hike. We have two sitters so everything should be okay, I just don't know whether smoking before taking shrooms is a good or bad idea.

Any suggestions from people who have taken them?
