Have you had a roommate that was just horrible to live with? Share your experience.

So I just moved today in the middle of the semester, and 3 days before a big exam. At the beginning of the semester I was searching for shared accommodation, and moved in with another guy in my class. Now, we are both nursing students, bother military veterans, and both mature aged students (I am 29, he is 25), so I thought everything would be fine. At first it was, we both were serious in class, we hit the gym hard, studied hard, and were on the right track. Then my roommate started partying... way too much. He joined a fraternity (yes, at the age of 25), started drinking 4-5 nights a week, doing shitloads of coke, blowing money like there was no tomorrow. He took out a $10,000 student loan (no idea why, since he uses the GI bill which pays tuition AND gives him a comfortable living allowance), and spent it all in under 2 1/2 months. He went to Cancun over spring break, blew all his money down there, and then told me his sad story when I returned from visiting family. Since then he stopped buying anything for himself, and just stole all of my food from the refrigerator, helped himself to my supplements, and still went out partying. Now he crashed big time in the last week. His frat kicked him out (I guess since he was broke and didn't buy everyone coke they had no more use for him), he is failing 60% of his classes (and I mean he has grades of 30 - 40% in those classes), he is completely broke (actually in debt big time), he's borrowed money from everyone, and today our internet and cable were shut off because he is 60 days delinquent on the bill. That was the last straw for me. I had already found a friend to live with for the rest of the semester and moved most of my belongings there. I had paid all of the rest for the month of March, but decided the last week wasn't worth the hassle. I packed up the remainder of my belongings, called my friend for a lift, and moved in with him today. Will stay there the next 5 weeks for the rest of the semester, and already have a lease in place for Fall and Spring Semester.

So, what are some of your horrible experiences with room mates?

TL:DR- My roommate loves to spend money, take out loans, drink and snort his money away, borrow from friends, join and get kicked out of fraternities, steal everything when he is broke, disregard paying his bills, fail his classes in college, and basically be a worthless human being.

Edit*** I forgot all the little things he did that annoyed me as well. He would leave dishes in the sink (after eating my food), because he was too lazy to load the dishwasher. He could spend up to an hour EVERY morning cutting his hair, and trimming his beard and body hair. He would turn the shower on, and then wait 20 minutes to actually get into the shower. Come in at 3 a.m. and wake me up (actually yell my name) because he was drunk and wanted someone to hang out with. Would lie CONSTANTLY about everything: grades, money, drugs, girls, etc. And the suppose the thing that just annoyed (and confused) me the most was how he could spend hours a day worrying about his physical appearance, and practically no time at all regarding studying, actually attending classes, homework, reports, etc. Why the hell are you in college if you are just going to drink and snort copious amounts of coke?
