SWAT team raids home, kills dog, but swatting victim was innocent.
Theoretical Scenario:
Man is accused of crimes that warrant a SWAT team breaching his house.
Man has a beware of dog sign on his property
SWAT team invades, dog shows signs of aggression, and officer has to shoot the dog.
Man is arrested, taken into custody, questioned, and then they find out that he isn't their man.
Does he get any sort of compensation for the death of his dog?
Likewise, does he get compensation for anything on his property that was damaged or destroyed by the SWAT team? (Windows, doors, bulletholes in walls from shooting the dog, etc)
