Chilli liqueur recipe? Does it exist? Would it taste awful?

Wow, who would have thought liqueur would be so hard to spell?

Anyway I make loads of liqueurs Strawberry, Blackberry, Sloe gin, plum etc. I also grow chillies, not many, but a few decent sized plants.

So...I wondered whether the twain could meet? What do you guys think? Is it possible? See, normally with most recipes its just fruit, sugar and booze, normally vodka or gin. I'm currently growing some scotch bonnets. You think I could use it with sugar and vodka? Sounds a little gross doesn't it?

Has anyone ever heard of chillies being used in alcoholic drinks? Should i just bin the idea?
