What is living in Paris (France) like as an African American? What are your travel stories as an African American?

I am a black guy in my 20s and want to expand my horizons beyond living in the south of the US but I don't want to end up somewhere where I might get mistreated or unhappy because of my race or nationality. I personally am interested in France so has anyone been there? What is it like as an African American?

I want to compare social experience there to social experience in America. If you have been to another country for a significant amount of time I would still like to read about it.

Also because it seems other countries have more/actual Africans or Jamaicans what was your experience like compared to them? I have a hard time finding this subject and even harder time without it being "filtered" so please be honest thanks.

I watched this, but again I am not sure how "filtered" it is because this youtube channel has some harsh words but may also be inaccurate.
