A survey of Perceived risks of activities compared to the actual risks?
Hi! Thanks for taking a moment to look at this survey, I really appreciate all of the responses I get!
I am currently enrolled in a Health Management class and it would really help me out if you could take this 3 minute survey.
Please leave your name (if it's fake how will I know?) and age.
the question: "Please rate the following risks on a one to ten scale: a ten being an activity or event which you perceive as a great risk to the citizenry of the United States (or your country I don't care), and a one being an activity or event which you perceive as a minor risk to the citizenry of the United States (or your country).
Natural Disasters, Structural Fires, Drowning, Driving an automobile, Drinking tap water, Tobacco Use, Bicycling, Indoor Air Pollution, Outdoor Air Pollution, Alcohol consumption, Medical X-Rays, Flying Commercial Airlines, Being SLIGHTLY overweight, Being SEVERELY overweight, Pesticides on foods, AIDS, Living with a smoker, Toxic Waste, Drug Abuse, Living in Poverty.
Thanks again for any input I get from you guys! to keep it thought provoking, after I get a good amount of results, I will provide the actual risks these activities pose to citizens of the US (only data I have sorry :/ ) and you can compare actual risk to perceived risk! Thanks!
If there is a better subreddit for me to post this to PLEASE let me know, I would be happy to move it. I just wanted to askreddit what they thought
EDIT: the formatting seems to be very weird so I will just insert commas.
