Is the Opus Largo good?

I'm looking for a good solid touring bike to one day tour Canada with, I'd also use it for commute but that's not quite as demanding.

I near Winnipeg and I can get both the Trek 520 and the Kona Sutra for around 1500 CAD which reading a few comments around here are pretty solid, but another store showed me the Opus Largo for ~1050 CAD saying it was a great value compared to the Trek 520 he used to sell (as well one of his employees had recently come back from touring with it).

A quick Google search didn't give me reviews other than one short one. So yea, I'd like to get some opinions on this.
