Places that accept used book donations?

I'm cleaning out my bookshelves of things I don't want anymore. I've taken them to Second Story Books and sold what I could (they weren't taking a lot in general, especially fiction) and got rid of a few more through the Amazon trade-in program; but I still have quite a lot of books to get rid of. The MLK library downton is no longer taking book donations.

Does anyone know of other places that accept book donations? (Goodwill is a last resort only because I suspect they'll just end up throwing everything away.)
