So, in light of the season 2 finale... let's talk about the Vatos. [spoilers, obviously]

Alright, so as we suspected, everyone who dies (barring head trauma) comes back. I knew this as a comic reader, but wasn't positive they would incorporate that into the show. Now that we know for sure... damn, the Vatos are fucked, right? Since they don't know that when one of the old ones dies, all hell will break loose, their selflessness will be repaid with Abuela or one of her contemporaries tearing them to shreds.

Someone posted a link to screencaps from the season 2 trailer the other day.

They obviously come from footage that never aired, likely from the episode that Frank Darabont was working on before he was fired (not to be confused with the Fall of Atlanta episode that was never in production - allegedly, there was a botched episode that Darabont was blamed for and was trying to fix right before he was fired). I wonder if, after Jenner's whisper, Rick insisted on stopping to warn the Vatos before leaving Atlanta. Clearly, they were too late.
