To all: If belief is not a matter of free will, then any supposed God cannot judge it.

I'm convinced that belief stems from two things: the human brain and external stimulus. In this way beliefs are more or less predetermined which is fair to say since the human mind and external stimuli are flexible. Events, people and our own decision making will cause us to believe certain things over others.

Now if this is the case, I don't think that God can logically judge a person's belief. It would be as if God judged a person by their skin color and some events that had some impact on that person. The only way a God can fairly judge belief is by giving very clear evidence for their existence such that a person would be insane not to believe.

A leap of faith is predetermined as well, since certain people are more likely to do so than others. Thoughts?
