I got a dying (dead?) HP S2331 monitor. I'm not sure if I could fit it, but might as well try.

Like the title says, I got a HP S2331 monitor that seems like it's on it's last leg. The screen itself makes a sizzling sound for a second or two (with picture), then the screen dies. The video driver and PSU are in good condition. I would like to fix it if possible, but I need money for gas to get to work for the next two weeks until I get my paycheck (I started in the middle of the payweek, so I didn't get my first check yesterday, thus no money for gas).

So what I'm asking is this: If I'm able to sell anything, awesome because you'll be helping a fellow redditor not be homeless, but if I could fix it, even more awesome because I could sell a working monitor for a lot more money then scrapping it.

If this isn't the place then I understand, point me in the right direction and I'll go ask there. Thanks
