Dear /r/usenet: How do you avoid malware-ridden fake posts?

Lately I've noticed a lot of fakes being posted (particularly in groups like a.b.teevee). These aren't your usual fakes with obvious phony names and/or listed as password protected on the index sites - but fakes with names identical to legit releases, generally posted within minutes/hours of the legit post. Any advice on avoiding these pain-in-the-ass fakes (I use SABnzbd)?
