Cherokee door mod?

I have been thinking over ways to make taking the doors on my Xj on and off easier. I have seen a few ideas, but all I have seen usually result in doors not closing properly. I thought of bolting Wrangler hinges to my body and outside of my doors, then removing my hinges on the inside of my doors. Is this a viable option? How did any of you other Xj owners make taking your doors on and off easier? I have a 99.
