Floaty thingies in your eyes

Is it just me or is it normal to have little things floating around in your vision. I don't see them all the time (b/c i think ive gotten used to them) but sometimes when i look at bright/white things I see them. I don't know if its dust, bacteria, or w/e, but is it normal?
