Where can I post about Career help?

Hey reddit I posted originally on r/careers and got no response what so ever that subreddit is just dead. I have a few questions about the field of programming, I tried /r/ programming but they don't allow text submits. Here is the post http://www.reddit.com/r/Careers/comments/r6jic/need_help_pursuing_a_career_in_programming/

Any advice as to where I can post or any answers you have to those questions in my previous post would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
