Favourite Final Fantasy Finale?

So i've just finished FFVIII. i know the game is pretty much looked down on compared to the other titles, but I thought that it had one of the best endings in the series. I mean it has such an impressive story and ripping Ultimecia a new one sent me back to the first time I beat it over 10 years ago!! No, gameplay wasn't fantastic, junctioning and magic make the game far too easy, but as far as storyline goes it's up there with FFIII, FFVII and FFX.

So I ask you, what is your favourite Final Fantasy story and conclusion?
