Need a source regarding android OS

I've been searching and can't seem to find the info I need. I'm doing a project on smartphones and need a quotable source that states how many different phones use android if possible. I found a huge list on wikipedia, but as you know, wikipedia is evil for citing. Here's the link Any help is much appreciated.
