Korean use of the word "kill" when referring to beating a opponent. Context?
I was just curious because in most western cultures, saying your going to kill another person even if it is obvious you mean just win the game is taboo. Korean players seem to use it a lot when saying they are going to beat their opponent (eg. DRG saying the only thing going through his head before a match is how he is going to "kill another person"). I'm just curious if there is something lost in translation or if saying something like that in Korean culture doesn't carry the same taboo as in Western cultures?
