Army leave question

so things are a little complicated right now and im not sure what my options are. im currently in the army and im trying to take leave so i can go get married in november and be able to book a honeymoon

the problem is i cant put in for leave because our unit is down sizing and most of us are getting moved to a different brigade. and theres no time line when this is going to happen. my NCOs arnt giving me straight answers and i was wondering what i could do. if i put in a leave for at my current unit will that transfer over to my new unit or will i have to get it approved all over again? since i know the unit i would be going to can i contact my chain of command at the new unit and give them a leave for a head of time?

I know its pretty far in advance to be doing this but my fiance and i have been screwed by the army on many occasions and i figure the sooner i do this the better. even though nothing is guaranteed. I also forgot to mentions this unit is deploying early next year dont know if that would have an effect on anything
