Planning on joining US Air Force, no idea...

Hi all, I am planning on joining the U.S. Air Force, but I want to know from all of you that are currently in it or have been in the Air Force if I am going in the correct direction or not.

In my senior year of high school I wanted to join for a technician field and for college tuition help, but my dad did not want me to join because of my being Mexican/Pakistani, and the fact that he's against military in general. I tried convincing him. Didn't work.

I am now in my second semester(first year) of college, and I feel the need to go so that I can motivate myself and get that extra jump start in my motivation. I also want to go for the college tuition that they will pay.

Can someone please, a recruiter maybe, let me know how to join, what the benefits are, and if I have the right motivation to do so?

TL;DR- Want to join Air Force, what are benefits, etc?
