Advice on making a bathtub into a shower

Hi r/DIY, I just bought a house and the main bathroom is only a bathtub but I want it to be a shower. It's one of those tubs that's attached to the wall, not one of the stand-alone ones. I guess I will need to tear up some drywall, install a shower head (and the plumbing that goes with it) and tile around the bathtub (it's currently wall paper all around the tub, no tile).

So.. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Any tips/advice, any good resources you know of for it?
