Did anybody dislike Ocarina of Time SPECIFICALLY for the 3DS?

My boyfriend feels like he's completely alone in his opinion. He didn't like the idea of putting what was supposed to be an epic, immersive adventure into a format that lends itself to being picked up and put down. Does anybody else feel this way? Don't really give a shit if you think it was the greatest thing ever, I already know lots of r/zelda thinks he's blasphemous for not worshipping it.

TL:DR If you didn't like them putting Ocarina of Time on the 3ds, speak up.
