I gave my Taylor GS Mini a tattoo today.

My GS Mini is my "fun" guitar, I haul it around on picnics, BBQ's, and outside where my other guitars never go - so I decided to give it a little something to make it more unique.

Why the Hawaiian islands? I grew up about half my teenage years there and have always had a soft spot for the islands ever since. Also, I enjoy playing Hawaiian slack key guitar, so it just kind of fit with the theme.

To paint it, I cut out a stencil from an image I got off the web, and then used some permanent acrylic paint I got at a craft store. I am pretty happy with the result :) Aloha!
