Should I tell my inlaws that my cat puked on their down comforter?

I am staying at my inlaws house. Today I went into a room that we weren't staying in, and I found that my cat had puked all over her down comforter. I tried washing out the stains with a damp rag and cleaner, but only managed to leave more stains. I could take it into the dry cleaners to get it dry cleaned, but I havent told my husband who has said that one more incident with the cat, and she is gone. He has said this for good reason--we are in the middle of a cross country move, and she is stressed, has IBS, and has managed to crap all over the house in various places. She has already ruined three throw rugs and a chair. My other option is to just turn the comforter over and leave the stains and hope that my inlaws dont find them--they are not staying here and wont be back for another couple of months. Redditors what would you do?
